We are starting the Whitening for Life program in our office after hearing Wendy Briggs (Hygiene Diamonds)  at the GG12 event in September.
Do any of the other GG12 offices have experience with introducing and marketing the program in their office/ practice?
There are some "pre-made" marketing items available to purchase, but I think we can do the same and more "in house".  What is the experience of other offices using this program?

Our office hired Wendy in Jan 2008 to help our two hygienists with our hygiene program. The Whitening for Life is an incentive for patients to come back after their cleaning/perio. Wendy's partner trained our two hygienists to sell perio and do all four quads at the initial appt. There are several other products and things that are covered in her program. Our hygiene production was averaging $45,000 a month. After training, some months we hit $70,000 just in hygiene. The initial investment for her to come to your office is worth it. We paid for the fee after the first week.

I'm not into LIFETIME commitments or guarantees...just didn't like the term (but did like the idea), so I set up another version which could be customized as you wish. I'd suggest just using tube of FREE GEL as a little perk to former POWER WHITENERS who are VIP's (hopefully most are). Tom's technique of always giving out gifts that are perceived to be worth more is a nice touch. The link at our site www.FreeSmileWhitening.com can get you an affordable supplier who will label your gel for you.

We haven't seen the amount of interest I expected to see.
We have been using 16% carbamide peroxide and have not seen good results. I have heard that hydrogen peroxide works better. We have one patient who wants to have her teeth whitened, but we need to get it completed in two weeks due to her health situation.

Thank you Tom, for allowing this dissenting opinion to the hype.
Perhaps its my area but the response has been "so what" so far. Perhaps in Phoenix or Havasu City?
Who knows when the right thing hits the wrong place or the wrong thing hits the right place. Wendy still wins.

We bought the program 6 months ago. I can't say there has been an explosion of interest. I trained my hygienist to take the impressions and I trained an assistant to make the bleach trays. We can deliver the trays in one day and sometimes same day. We charge a fee of 49.00. I am finding that the patients who tend to keep their appointments are doing it. The patients who have scheduling issues and break hygiene appointments are not doing it. Their thinking seems to be if I don't do the program, I won't feel badly about missing my appointment. What I don't understand is why it has not generated more "buzz".

The program is to introduce tooth whitening to your patients with the stipulationi that they must maintain a regular recare schedule to keep the benefits. This is similar to some of the warranty programs. We have launched the program which has generated quite a lot of interest from our existing patients.
